We remember some of their names but we would like to acknowledge all of the brave and dedicated women (and men) whose actions and energies opened up the cage of culture and law which bound women for so many generations.
Women now living, and yet unborn, need to understand the price paid so to better resist the danger of it happening again.
Failure is impossible - as long as we remember.
